Thank you so much to all the parents who attended registration last week. It was exciting to meet all of my new students and their families! Although the first day of school has been delayed, my classroom is ready and waiting for this amazing group of 2nd graders I have many things planned for us this year and I can't wait to get started! Thank you as well for making sure that your child is well rested and prepared for school each day. I will give my best effort each day to make sure your child receives instruction that is individualized to his or her needs, and that a productive, caring learning environment is provided.
Don't forget to bring your school supplies on the first day of class. Parents, be sure to check your child's take-home folder each night. I will be sending home some important information the first few days. There will be a revised school calendar which I will send as soon as I receive it. I will also send a copy of our daily schedule and weekly special class schedule.
I am very happy to announce that our class will have a student teacher this year. Her name is Mrs. Kyla Hardin, and she is very excited to meet the class! We are fortunate to have Mrs Hardin with us. It's going to be a great year!
